Step 1:- First, click on the link provided below to visit its official website.
Step 2:- Select from the options available on the website:
- For Indian Citizens – New PAN – Indian Citizen (Form 93 & 94)
- For Foreign Citizens – New PAN – Foreign Citizen (Form 95 & 96)
- Next, select your Category and Title.
Step 3:- Fill in Initial Information
Now, enter the following details:
- Full Name (Last Name, First Name, Middle Name)
- Date of Birth / Date of Establishment
- Email ID
- Mobile Number
After filling in all the information, tick the checkbox, enter the CAPTCHA code, and click the Submit button.
Step 4:- Obtain Token Number
After submitting the form, a Token Number will be sent to your email address.
Using this Token Number, click on “Continue with PAN Application Form.”
Step 5:- Fill out the application form carefully.
Read all the provided instructions carefully before filling out the form. Thereafter:
- Select the method for submitting documents (online or by post).
- Choose whether or not you require a physical PAN card.
- Fill in your personal information, contact details, and AO Code.
- Upload the required documents.
Step 6:- Submit the application and pay the fee.
After filling in all the details, submit the application.
The payment page will now open, where you can pay the fees off 106 Rs using the following methods:
- Debit Card / Credit Card
- Net Banking
- Demand Draft
- Upon successful payment, you will receive an Acknowledgement Number.
Step 7:- You can track the status of your PAN card application online using the Acknowledgement Number. This number is also sent to your email address.
Once you receive the acknowledgment slip, your entire process concludes right there. Within two to four days, you will be notified via email that your PAN card has been generated and has also been dispatched to your home address through the postal service; subsequently, the PAN card will be delivered to your doorstep within 7 to 8 days.
