PM Kisan e-KYC Karen Online: The 24th installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is not far away. Farmers can expect ₹2,000 in their bank accounts anytime in October or mid-November. But there is a catch. If your e-KYC is pending, the money will not reach you.
The PM Kisan portal carries a clear message on this. The same rule was applied during the 23rd installment too, when payments of farmers without e-KYC were put on hold.
No e-KYC Option on the Website
Many farmers are facing trouble in completing e-KYC. The official PM Kisan portal, pmkisan.gov.in, no longer has an e-KYC option. This has left many farmers confused about how to get the work done.
There is no need to worry. There are three ways to complete e-KYC.
Visit Your Village CSC
Though the portal does not offer e-KYC, a registered CSC VLE in your village can do it with their login. Just carry your Aadhaar card and PM Kisan registration number. The CSC operator will help you and complete the biometric verification.
Pay only the fixed fee. Do not give any extra money.
PM Kisan e-KYC Using the Mobile App
You can also complete e-KYC on your phone using the PM Kisan mobile app. Follow these steps.
- Open the Play Store on your phone and download the PM Kisan app and the Aadhaar Face RD app.
- Open the PM Kisan app, tap “Next,” and select your language.
- Tap “Login” and choose “Beneficiary” as the login type.
- Enter your Aadhaar number or PM Kisan registration number.
- Once you enter the Aadhaar number, the “Facial eKYC” option will appear.
- Tick the consent form and scan your face.
- Bring your face inside the circle and wait until the lines of the circle turn green.
- Create your mPIN.
- Go to the PM Kisan dashboard and open it.
- Check the “eKYC Status”. If it says “Yes”, your e-KYC is complete.
Official Login of the State Government
The third option is the official login ID issued by the state government. If there is an authorised person near you who has such a login, they can complete your e-KYC.
Beware of Fake Agents
It has often been seen that some people visit villages in the name of PM Kisan e-KYC, take money from villagers, and disappear. Do not fall into their trap and do not pay them anything. If someone comes to your village to do e-KYC and asks for money, it could be a fraud, so always verify who they are.
Before doing anything else, first check whether your e-KYC is already done. You can do this by visiting a CSC or by using your mobile phone. If it is not done, complete it only through an official channel.
