UP Scholarship 2026-27: The last date to apply for the Post Matric (Post-Class 10, other than Class 11 and 12) Scholarship is getting closer. The scheme is run by the Social Welfare Department of Uttar Pradesh. Students who want to fill the form should apply soon and not wait for the final day. In the last few days, heavy traffic on the website can cause trouble while applying.
Important Dates
Renewal students: If you want to renew your form, do it online before 15 October. Attach all the needed documents and submit a hard copy of the form at your college.
Fresh students: Fresh applicants can fill the form till 31 October 2026. After that, they can take a printout of the form till 2 November. The printed form must be submitted at the college by 4 November 2026.
How to Apply Online
- Go to the official scholarship website and click on “Post Matric Registration”.
- Fill in all the details asked for and complete the registration first.
- After that, fill in the other details to complete the application.
- Take a printout of the fully filled form.
- Upload all the required documents and submit the form at your school or college.
No fee is being charged for filling the form.
Eligibility Criteria for Scholarship
- The student must be a permanent resident of Uttar Pradesh and must be studying in the state.
- Yearly family income should not be more than ₹2.5 lakh for General, Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) students.
- For Other Backward Classes (OBC), the income limit is ₹2 lakh a year.
- For those in unclean occupations, there is no income limit.
