Is an Aadhaar PVC Card Valid Everywhere?
Yes. UIDAI recognises the Aadhaar PVC card as an equally valid form of Aadhaar, alongside the Aadhaar letter, e-Aadhaar, and mAadhaar.
You do not need to replace a valid paper Aadhaar letter or e-Aadhaar merely because it is not printed on a PVC card.
However, Aadhaar is an identity document and does not automatically replace other documents required for a particular service.
